Cal
Skate prides itself in maintaining a wholesome family recreation
environment. We appreciate you cooperation in observing the following:
Falling
is a normal part of roller skating, for your own safety when participating
in sports, be cautious and courteous. Remember, management is
not responsible for accidents. All customers acknowledge that
roller skating is an activity subject to injuries which may result
from a number of causes. By purchasing ad admission or skate rental
ticket, customer acknowledges and accepts this risk.
If
you do not have skates with you, you will be charged $1.50 for
skate rental even if you are not planning to skate, except for
parents who are watching their children. Exceptions to this must
be approved by the manager.
For
customer safety, health and cleanliness, Cal Skate is a gum and
smoke free environment.
Cal
Skate will not allow hats or head gear except for approved safety
helmets on the skating floor. Curlers in hair are prohibited.
Tank tops, tube tops or bare midriff, muscle shirts, white T-shirts,
cut-off shirts, torn or tattered jeans, clothing with inappropriate
writing, pictures or sayings not in good taste are prohibited.
Team school jerseys or attire commonly associated with gang affiliation
are prohibited. Neatness of dress is expected of all guests. Cal
Skate reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
The
following rules are established and enforced for the safety and
security of all skaters:
- Guests
will conduct themselves at all times as ladies and gentlemen.
- No
in and out priveleges or loitering around the building. When
you leave, you leave.
- No
alcoholic beverages or anyone under the influence of alcohol
will not be allowed on the premises.
- Skates
missing toe stops, or without approved toe stops or wheels and
in-line skates without approved axle hardware will not be permitted.
- Fast
reckless skating, weaving in or out, tag play or skating in
a matter that may jeopardize the safety of others will not be
permitted.
- No
sitting on the walls, railings, tables or counters.
- All
persons renting skates will be required to wear socks.
- All
shoes, coats, purses and personal belongings must be placed
in a locker or shelf area. Not responsible for lost or stolen
articles.
- Management
reserves the right to inspect lockers, skate cases, bags and
or hand bags on entry to or leaving the building.
- Please
report all accidents to management.
- No
food or drink may be carried into this facility except for scheduled
birthday party guests.
